Tidbit: BrightKite.com “hidden” login page
I was testing out BrightKite during the weekend, so I stumbled upon this nice piece of a login page:
Apart from the obvious pun (log, log in, log, haha.ha.) this login screen is right to the point. Just a big nice login form, a “Remember me” toggle, two links out, nothing but the the bare essentials.
What I’d do different: in my humble opinion, the two input fields look kinda awkward, placed side-by-side like this. I’d place them one under another. And I’d make their labels more prominent, maybe a stronger colour.
Well done, BrightKite!
P.S. This is not the main login screen of the application. The main login screen resides in their homepage. To access this “loggy” page, you must try to access a login-only page (say, your account configuration page) while logged out. Log Get it?

lol, that’s the best login screen I’ve seen so far. And the two text fields might look a bit strange at first, but they certainly add to the composition (looks much better to the eye this way)..
