Redesigning Inquisitr posts

While I was browsing my feeds the other day, I stumbled upon an article on Inquisitr.com. I knew the site, I have visited before, but one thing struck me as odd: the design is much too crowded and cluttered and leaves absolutely no room for content to breathe. And it’s a shame, because the content is not that bad.

So I fired up the trusty CSSEdit and tweaked a bit the CSS. It’s not much, a 5 minutes work, but I think it’s much better, in terms of white space and overall air. Check out the before & after:

Very subtle changes, mainly revolving around margins, paddings and line-heights. Plus, that typo needs to go, Inquisitr.com, please.

    Nice one!

I also think that Inquisitr will be better without the big white Google ad near its logo (no comment for the ad itself :P)

Got something to say?

Please say it in English, the one and only language of this blog. If your comment is in greek or swedish or esperanto, I claim the right to edit it and translate it to english. Thank you.
