Spam Takes Over Blog, Sugar Terrified

645 comments for moderation? I beg your pardon?

…and the worst thing aren’t the comments, but the moderation e-mails that Wordpress keeps sending at my admin e-mail account. The agony!

I’m in serious need of a spam protection plugin. Which leads us to the same thing : Wordpress update, now!

    hehe, don’t worry darling, its gonna get worst!!! I guess when you moderate the 645 comments as spam, then you’re gonna be fine (at for least for a while)… So take a deep breath and start moderating!!!

    …and to think that I even deleted one of your comments while mass-moderating the previous wave of spam!

    I had to extract the comment info from the e-mail I got from Wordpress and then add it manually through phpMyAdmin to my db…

    See how much I like your comments? :P

    Ouch, that cannot be fun. I’ve had over 100 comments spams hit me over a night, but never anything close to that.

    I think you’re right - time to update. ;)

    Thx fck for akismet. I’ll tell you one thing

    Akismet has caught 46,014 spam for you since you first installed it.

    And that is without the spam on the tagboard which Akismet can’t catch for some reason. If it wasn’t for that I dont think I would be able to find any of my posts among the spam.
