Mine broke in the same spot…..
I’m going to email Griffin and see what they say, but I’ve never dropped banged anything my case. It’s a stress point on the plastic.

I used to tuck my iPhone in a woolen former iPod sock, but the whole getting it out, getting it in again thing did not work very well for me.

hej there, my recommendation is the original ipod classic sleeve (the black cloth ). Classy and good looking to hold your iPhone. I think the plain design it carries is excellent (that’s subjective of course) and does the job. Good luck with your quest.
