Gmail Delete Button, where art thou?
This is not a real post, more of a ranting :
Has anyone got in their Gmail the “Delete” buttons the Google guys announced recently?
Because I still haven’t seen any. And frankly, I’m kinda pissed. Because even if your mail storage is up to 1TB, sometime you just want to delete, ya know what I’m sayin’?
To be honest, it’s the first time in my post-Google life that I’m pissed with the Google guys. Wow. There is a first time for everything, after all.
I don’t know why this happens, I read somewhere that those features are released only in US-GB users. Is it true? Do you have a Gmail delete button? (other then the Greasemonkey one)

Are you using standard view? It’s been there for quite a while. Which brinsg me to another point: why haven’t they added the button to the basic html view? It’s just a button, not rocket science or AJAX in this case.

@ Tommy : I know how to delete things, hun, I just want a button to do all that, not a kazillion of form procedures!
@ Maria : I’m using standard view. I even reloaded and reloaded. (not that it helps, but for the fun of it) No sign of it!

Try from another browser. Mozilla sometimes does not refresh, even though you might click reload a million times (has happened to me, even with CTRL+F5). I have a delete button as well. I just can’t understand why they ever chose in the first place to include it in a.. drop down?! yikes!

I tried everything : Explorer, IEtab, FF, you name it.

Thanks for the tip Tommy. It actually worked. Now I have Gchat too!
And no, I used “English UK” Gmail Anthony.

Ok, I guess Tommyu says “change to ENGLISH US intreface and it will show up” but in a weird language…

That’s why I always select English-US and not UK, although I hate “‘optimizing’ the ‘colors’”. I know they like pretending there is nobody else in the world out there, and because Americans can’t read proper english they had to invent “English-US”. Ugh!

I always used the Greasemonkey one and it suddenly doesn’t work!!! Can’t find it in the drop down box or anything. This has been a few days untill now I just noticed the gmail one is there. Ugggh… why do they have to put it in a different position!!!! Oh well, I guess I could delete things again!
