@Kostis

I just got a letter (yes, real letter) from Wired explaining that they had difficulties charging my credit card so that's why they've not sent any issues yet.

So I guess I haven't been charged. I don't know if I'll try again though.

I wish you better luck than mine.

@adamo

You missed my point - it's not that I dismiss theoretical background in design, God no!

I just say that I can find all the theory I want in the relevant books. I want my magazines more practical and inspiring.

@sugarenia:
It is my firm belief that us hands-on people should always try and have a theoretical background on our choices, even when they happen as a result of gut-instinct. In the case of design, I also believe that an interdisciplinary approach is valid. I would take an architects advice and try to use it on my field.

But on the other hand I am hardly the person to consult on (user) interface issues. So you may dismiss the suggestion all together.

@adamo

I should have been more specific - I'm not interested in theory of design. I want real-life examples and reduxes and the healthy dose of inspiration, only monthly. Can I?

Thanks for the welie.com link though, highly appreciated.

I would consult an architect on that matter. OK, most probably the suggestion will not be a web related one, but the core concept is: ideas. Afterall, even the (web) design patterns were based on an architect's work. Just read the Welie's paper from http://www.welie.com

@Kostis:
Wired is not what it used to be.

I don't think it ever will. At least, that's what happens in Crete. Maybe you'll have more luck than me.

What do you mean unlike Wired? I've recently paid for a yearly subscription and I'm waiting for my first issue to arrive!
