Finally, after a long time of saving money, avoiding Marks & Spencer shopping windows as the plague, denying everything Amazon related and refusing to spend more than 4$ on a drink, I managed to gather just about enough money to get the M.
Yesterday passed in a blur. I woke up anxiously at 8 in the morning and waited fidgeting for my parents to finish with their daily morning routine. I couldn’t look too excited, because you know, I’m not 8 years old anymore (eventhough I still need my mom to do any decent shopping).
I managed to snatch the last Macbook that exists in whole Greece. Rainbow worked its charm again, delaying all Macbook orders so much that I had to take the one they used in Multirama stores for showing off the Macbook series. I’m not ashamed to admit that! A girl has to do what she has to do for her Macbook.
Anyway. So far, so good. No problems yet. I must admit though, I don’t know zilch about handling a Mac, and those first hours were scary but fun. I even managed to remove the pre-made accounts that Multirama people have created, all by myself!
Another iLife post will follow this one, explaining my first Macbook impressions. Maybe some Flickrness too, we’ll see.
Have fun with your Macs, out there. I’ll surely have some fun with mine.

Congrats Su!
Trust me, you’ll fall in love with it even more after you use it for a while!
BTW, did you get 1GB extra RAM? I remember reading in a forum that it helps performance. Oh, and please install WoW on it to see how it performs, would be great to know, can’t find enough info about that on the net…
