The fatality of repeatable events in iCal

I recently discovered iCal – and rocking it ever since. I find it very useful both for events and to-dos, it’s fun to use and easy and integrates nicely with most Mac apps and online productivity applications.

I’ve noticed though a thing the other day, when I was inserting some friend’s birthday in it:

Adding repeatable events in iCal

Anyone else feeling goosebumps at the fatality of having an “end” date for it?

It’s like asking, when will your friend will cease being your friend?

Or worse, when will your friend will cease being altogether?

Ouch!

iCal rocks, especially now that you have a Sony Ericsson mobile phone! ;-)

You just have to calculate by yourself when your FEMALE friend will be 40 years old. And when this day come, you’d better don’t remind her that today is her birthday.

Well… i think that the better is that iCal shouldn’t reminded this fact to you in first place…

    Sweet.

@artech: Rocks indeed, just synced my Macbook with my phone and it feels great :)

    @PsyxiatroZ: That’s a good use for it ;)

@Derek: First of all, you’d be kindly requested to reply in the language of the post – in this case, English. If you’re not in the mood for that, you can contact me in greek through e-mail, I’ll be happy to read and reply to that.

Language matters aside, thanks for the tip, some eager friends already beat you to that. Thing is, I don’t wanna link my Birthdays calendar to my Address book, plain and simple.

    Thank you though :)
