Let the Macbook fundraising begin…

You heard me, folks. I’ve decided it: this Macbook is gonna be mine.

Nothing’s gonna stop me from buying it, except..well..money. So I officially state the official start of the official Sugar fund raising for the Holy Grail. (by the way, check the new Mac ads)

From now on, no CSS book or Harry Potter edition or Burning Crusade will lure me to spend my hard earned money on Amazon. No eating outside, no drinking outside, no nothing outside : strict savings.

On the other hand, you can help me maybe buy a beer sometime, by donating to the official Sugar & Macbook fundraising, summer - fall 2006, by using the Paypal button on right.

So, the question remains: black or white?
On a darker, darker note: WTF is happening between Israel and Lebanon? For God’s sake, people…

Well you pay 200$ more just to get a black case + 20GB more storage, but when I ‘ll buy a Macbook (sooner or later) it’s is definetely going to be a black one!!!!!!!! Sexy machine ;-)

John, believe it or not, I think the white case makes this Book a MacBook.

I’ll try to live with the 60GB though ;)

Best of luck with this. :) I would love to hear how the donations work out for you as I may start one of my own.

    Good luck!

Lol, P.J., I don’t think the donations would really help me, but I wanted an official landmark which will remind me in future that I must be careful with money.

What better thing to do than stick a big PayPal donate button in your blog? :P

Black is way sexier, white is way more ‘Apple’, plus you can get the same specs for 150$ or so less if you for the white, configured to match the black’s conf. Then again, it’s a Mac. Even if it was pink ( yikes !) it would still be amazing :)

[...] Summer I need a vacation, badly. Not that work tires me that much, just that I need some time on myself, doing nothing that I don’t want to. I’m aiming for a 15-day vacation in August, but I don’t know how much of it I’ll get. Oh well, I can hope… I’m not heading to anywhere, though, I’ll stay home. Macbook fundraising, remember? [...]
