Sometimes you just have to take the day off.
Today was one of these days. Woke up in the morning all cold and shivering, tried to drag myself to kitchen, made and eat breakfast but then, at the mere thought of driving to work, my legs just abandoned me.
I feel weak and tired. Stress and frustration of the last days have built up, I guess. So after thought I took the day off, because hey, it’s still February.
It was nice, being at home during a weekday. But weird too. Because I wasn’t there.
Oh well, see you all again on Monday.
stress, work, day off
Tried to install the infamous Mac OS X 10.5.2 patch to both my Macbook and my iMac last night. First try at iMac, failed miserably. The installation process was stuck on the “Configuring” screen and wouldn’t go away, as much as I pleaded it.
I searched briefly around the Apple support fora and found out that some other users had the same problem too, but they have solved it by installing the update using the standalone installer. So I rebooted back to 10.5.1, re-downloaded 350MB, tried installing it, worked like a gem, bounced around.
It was the first time an update played up with my iMac and I wasn’t exactly thrilled. I guess I should have waited a bit but those shiny new view options in Stacks called at me like chocolate.
On the other hand, seems my Macbook battery is finally and utterly dead. Any idea about where I can find a decent replacement battery that won’t make my Macbook (and wallet) explode?

It does a good job of differentiating between the three, but why the numbers? By listed them in an ordered list, users may think that these are the steps of a procedure, meaning you first have to do the first, then second, then third.
I know this has passed through my mind when I first saw that.
On top of that, why exclude the social bookmarking way of this list and place it on top? This turns confusing quickly.
