A bucket load of Pathfinder.gr advancements

Wanna know what’s new at our favourite baby at Phaistos Networks, Pathfinder.gr?

First of all, new features for our beloved Pathfinder Blogs:

  • Unique visitor stats (at last)
  • New Hot Blogs features, charts, trends and other goodness
  • Multiple autocomplete on tags input while posting
  • Better drag-n-drop support in management of links

On top of those, the new version of Core is applied on all services, meaning that it’s now easier and much more intuitive to add Javascript features to them. Stay tuned for more Ajax-y goodness.

Plus, we’re adding screencasts to our support section, that’s been used by hundreds of users daily after all (some users like to RTFM I guess).

Big news is, we’re also working on a new version of our frontpage that we hope to launch sometime soon. It’s currently in alpha.

Wanna learn about the latest changes in the results of the Greek elections (which take place like, today) in the most direct and pwetty of ways? Check out our Pathfinder Elections 2007 mini-site!

What’s next? Changes to the news comments section, a revamped e-mail service, more and more new features to blogs and a ton more.

Stay tuned for more, things are getting a september clean-up around here.

Death Proof

I’ve watched Death Proof yesterday.

And I’ve realized that movie-by-movie, I’m starting to love Tarantino, particularly the way he portrays women.

The movie is about the story of two separate girl bands and how they dealt with a psycho, namely Kurt Russell. It has a distinct 70’s feel to it, and up till the moment one of the girls in the movie got out her cell phone, I thought it was really a 70’s film.

Colours and photography are delicious and smartly used to “advertise” Texas and Tennessee. The cast is well chosen and all girls make your eyes pop out, even if you’re a female. You don’t believe me? Check out this lap dance scene by Vanessa Ferlito and then try to stop your nose bleeding.

Death Proof is a hilarious, horrendous and unbelievably sexy flick that most Tarantino fans will love, I’m sure.

Back to school

Don’t you feel nostalgic and all fuzzy inside when you think about school and how you’d be willing to give anything to go back to those years?

Well, I don’t.

But I love myself some good office equipment, the one that you traditionally buy at this time of year. Since I’m using pen and paper almost daily at work to jot down anything that has to be done, I’m always on the lookout for fun office stuff.

So I bought a nice disc bound notebook from myndology (it’s not here yet, so I can’t review it, sorry), while I stumbled upon some nice paper clips from perpetualkid.

Check out the nice ring bound and disc bound notebooks from myndology, as well as the emoticon and speech bubble clips from perpetualkid.

I particularly like the ring notebooks from myndology, thing is, I don’t think I’ll ever use them. So I lurk until the traditional disc bound notebook comes.

P.S. Wish me a good name day today, I know there’s another one in 8th February, and I know my birthday is in 23rd December, but I never said I’m not a sucker for presents at multiple times per year.
