So I like the iPhone.

Mucho.
Discuss.
I’m pretty much a book person.
Don’t get me wrong, I really enjoy reading, studying and learning stuff online, but deep down, for me, nothing can beat a good book. Since times immemorial, I was reading everything that would fall in my hands: I knew how to read and write greek fluently even before elementary school, and I knew the basics of english too (a bit of self promotion, sorry). I’d read anything from encyclopedias to television manuals and cleaning fluids labels, anything at all.
I guess that’s why I was considered a boring nerd by other youngsters back then.
Today, after two years of earning some money through working and spending them on books, I find myself having too many books for my little bookcase. This shabby little thing contains everything from my trusty uni books, to recent amazon purchases, to french and italian textbooks and tons of paperbacks.
I think it’s time to clean it up a little. This can’t go on.
*sigh*
P.S. My recent gift to myself: Transcending CSS by Andy Clarke (genius book) and the adult edition of Harry Potter books 4 to 6, The Devil wears Prada and The Cell by Stephen King.
If you’re greek, I know this name is not new for you. If you’re not, let me inform you that Forthnet is one of the biggest network companies based in Greece.
Yesterday, Forthnet people revealed their new corporate identity. A new logo was introduced, quite different from the previous version, while the Forthnet website was also changed to reflect the new identity.
What is your opinion on this?
As fas as I’m concerned, the colours are pretty nice and their combination is quite unusual. But the logo disappointed me, it feels out of place and off-balanced. Moreover, I’d love to see a different font used in it.
